API Description:
The ProPublica Congress API returns: <strong>Roll-call vote data</strong>, tracked by official Congressional data sources, <strong>Member data</strong> for current and past members of Congress, <strong>Standard bill</strong> summaries and details, <strong>Nomination data</strong> (exclusive of Military nominations) and various supplemental information, including party counts by state; and committees and committee rosters.
Most of the data in the ProPublica Congress API is updated daily, votes are updated every 30 minutes. Use of this API is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 United States license. Commercial users may be subject to additional use fees.
This is a RESTful API, with an API Key Authentication Model.
